No Vendor Fee - Just Sign Up, Show Up and Sell
There is no vendor fee for market vendors. We believe in lowering barriers and keeping the market accessible to everyone. Food trucks are subject to separate requirements per City of Blue Earth ordinance.
Who Can Participate
Everyone's Welcome
We welcome vendors who grow it, raise it, make it, or create it:
- Grow it - fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, plants
- Raise it - eggs, meat, and other animal products (must comply with all applicable MN state regulations)
- Make it - baked goods, preserves, honey, handmade food products
- Create it - handmade crafts, art, jewelry, candles, woodwork, and other handcrafted items
We welcome all vendors - farmers, makers, resellers, and community entrepreneurs alike. We trust the community to support what it values.
Growing Our Community
We want the Blue Earth Community Market to be more than a place to buy and sell - we want it to be a gathering place that strengthens our community. When you show up consistently, promote your participation, and engage with the community, you help make this market something the whole town is proud of.

Vendor setup is assigned in two waves. Spaces 1-20 unload first, and vendors in spaces 21-30 may not pull onto the lot until 9:15 AM. We will share your assigned wave in the Friday booth assignment email. These times are firm. The market officially opens at 10:00 AM. If you would like to attend, please register here so we can plan, promote, and communicate with vendors and customers.
Early Departure
Selling Out Early
Early teardown is allowed if you sell out or if you let Morgan or Heather know in advance that you need to leave early. Use a wagon or hand cart to move your items. No vendor vehicles on the lot until after 1:00 PM.
Attendance
Sign Up & Cancel With Notice
Make sure you're signed up here for any market day you plan to attend - that's how we know who's coming and how we promote you. Vendor signup for each Saturday closes on Monday at 10:00 PM. After 10:00 PM on Monday, signup for that Saturday is closed.
Space & Setup
Booth Details
- Standard booth space is 12x12 feet. Larger spaces available on request.
- Bring your own tent, table, chairs, and display materials.
- Tent weights are required. Blue Earth can be windy - an unsecured canopy is a safety hazard and your responsibility.
- Vendors must stay within their designated space.
- Vendor setup happens in two waves. Vendors in spaces 1-20 unload first. Vendors in spaces 21-30 may not pull onto the lot until 9:15 AM.
- We will tell you your assigned wave on Friday when booth assignments are sent out.
- If you are assigned a space between 1-20 and you arrive after the 9:15 AM cutoff, you cannot drive in. Wagons will be available to help move your items.
- If you are in spaces 21-30, keep your vehicle off the lot until 9:15 AM so vendors in spaces 1-20 can get unloaded and moved.
- Because vehicle space is limited, pull up to your booth, unload, then move your vehicle right away to the church parking lot across the street. No selling from your vehicle.
- Do not park on the Ryno lot. That parking is reserved for customers.
- Keep your area clean. Take your trash with you at the end of the day.
Restrooms
There are no on-site restrooms at the Ryno Lot. The nearest public restroom is at KwikTrip, located just across the roundabout.
Indoor Market (Inclement Weather)
In the event of heavy rain or dangerous wind, the market may move indoors to the Winter Storage section of the Ryno Repair building. The garage door faces the street and will be opened to welcome shoppers. Booth spaces will be chalked out in advance. Admins will notify vendors on market day mornings when weather requires a move.
Conduct
Community Standards
- Treat fellow vendors, customers, and market staff with kindness and respect.
- This is a family-friendly, community event. Please keep it welcoming for all ages.
- No smoking on the market grounds.
- No vendor pets. Customers with leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome.
- No sales before 10:00 AM. Morgan will announce when it is 10:00 AM.
- No breaking down early unless you have sold out or you have let Morgan or Heather know in advance that you need to leave early.
- Blue Earth Community Market is focused on food, makers, small business, and community. To keep the market welcoming and centered on that purpose, political campaigning, candidate appearances, political party booths, petitioning, and the sale or distribution of political merchandise or campaign materials are not permitted.
