We’re happy to spotlight Axel’s Fishing Tails, a young local maker bringing handmade fishing lures to the Blue Earth Community Market.
Axel Boman is 11 years old, lives in Frost, and goes to school at Blue Earth Area. He started making fishing lures this past winter because he loves both fishing and creating things, then decided to start making his own.
Axel makes lures with different blade sizes and hook sizes, and he says what makes his business unique is that you cannot usually find single-hook lures like his in the store. He can also create custom lures with your choice of bead colors, lure size, and blade size.
We love seeing young makers and fresh ideas show up at the market, and Axel’s Fishing Tails brings exactly that kind of energy. If you enjoy fishing, the outdoors, or supporting creative local vendors, this is a booth worth checking out.
