We’re happy to spotlight Goemann Produce, bringing fresh vegetables and farm eggs to the Blue Earth Community Market.
Owner Sarah Goemann grows fresh produce and raises chickens for eggs, offering customers a chance to bring home farm-grown food straight from the source.
Sarah shared that her path into this work grew from a personal health journey. After jaw surgery in 2012, she became more interested in food, nutrition, and how what we eat shapes how we feel. That interest eventually grew into years of experience in hospital food service and a deeper connection to growing food herself.
At the market, some customer favorites are rhubarb and asparagus, with more seasonal produce on the way as the year unfolds. Sarah also shared that visitors can look forward to things like sugar snap peas and radishes in June.
We also love her connection to the area. She is excited to keep building relationships with customers and fellow vendors, and we are glad to have her as part of the market community.
If you see Goemann Produce at the market, stop by and say hello. Fresh local food and friendly faces are a big part of what makes market season so special.
