The Blue Earth Community Market has seen a few homes over the years. What started as a small gathering at Juba’s grocery store parking lot in 2015 has grown into something much bigger — and its most recent move to the Ryno Community Lot may be the most significant one yet.
The market spent its early years at Juba’s before finding a longer home at Bomgaars, where it built a loyal following of vendors and shoppers who came out on Saturday mornings for fresh produce, baked goods, and local meat.
In 2025, Ryan Hagedorn of Hagedorn Corn approached Morgan Myers and Ryne Myers of Ryno Repair with an idea: bring the market to the Ryno Community Lot at 112 S Grove St. That first season brought returning vendors like Granada Gardens and Cookies Bars & Jars alongside new faces including Blue Earth Cooperative Bakery, Briggs’ Barnyard, Goemann Produce, and The Pour Girls.
What grew from there was a commitment to this marketspace between Ryan, Heather, and Morgan built on a shared love for the community. The off-season brought a new website, active Facebook page, new vendor recruitment, and vendor standards.
The vision extends beyond Saturdays — Hi-Way Motorfest, Rock-in Roll-ins music series, food trucks — building the lot into a true community anchor.
